Martin Architects has changed during the past ten years. Originally,
Warren Cummings Heylman and Partners, Architects, designed many notable
projects around the Spokane area. In recent years the firm has scaled
back to focus heavily on the individual project and client, generating
heartfelt projects, in-tune with both the clients' desires and budget
constraints. It is in this contemporary age that the firm has developed
a voice for the more silent members of our society… women and children.
Concern for the welfare of children and the environments in which they
grow, learn, and heal, has become our firm's passion. This cause
illustrates itself not only in the early learning centers we have
developed, but also in creative housing solutions for families,
offering support and stabilization for often disrupted lives. Our firm
appreciates that the more those involved in planning a child care
center understand about the developmental needs of young children, and
about the design process itself, the better the outcome. In the new era
of Heylman Martin Architects we pride ourselves on being able to work
with client intentions, contractors, and budgets to come up with
designs that benefit us all in the long run. |
