As a sustainable place- holder for future low-income housing, the City of Spokane's Community Development Department conceived of a two and a half lot community garden. Featuring earth friendly practices, the gardens are home to over a dozen small, private plots as well as eight large plots geared toward the "urban farming" concept. |
