Cohesiveness from Diversity

Taking a phased approach, the Campbell's Resort was able to expand the family owned 1901 hotel to a true destination resort complete with updated lodges and a bustling conference center over several years.  Phasing also allowed for construction work to occur in the winter months as well as diverse cottages and miscellaneous structures to eventually be integrated into a cohesive composition.  The towers over major stairways and entrances together with sloping roofs and a simplified paint scheme helped to unify the many diverse building blocks and not detract from the original historic hotel.
