Catholic Charities Spokane partnered with Sacred Heart Medical Center to create an 18-unit transitional housing facility for homeless mothers with children. Single moms and their kids have a warm, dignified, safe and spacious place to call home while they are reclaiming their lives. In addition, homeless mothers with newborns have a home versus returning to the streets with a baby. A large communal kitchen and living spaces serve all the residents.
